Dr. Steven Hull, DVM

Chief of Staff

Oklahoma State University, 1998, DVM

Dr. Steven Hull has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1998. He is a certified cat-friendly veterinarian who attended undergraduate classes at Oklahoma State University for just 2 years before being accepted to OSU’s College of Veterinary Medicine at age 19. He started practicing in the Dallas-Ft Worth metroplex, where he worked until relocating to Washington in 2025.

In his spare time during high school, he began showing cats in the Cat Fanciers’ Association. He exhibited several breeds of cats to National Wins, earning them wins among the top 15 cats in the country.  One of these cats, a Russian Blue named Nick, was featured on ESPN in a special chronicling a show Steven attended in San Francisco in 1992 where the cat was awarded best cat in Premiership at the show. Later that same year, he began breeding and showing Oriental and Colorpoint Shorthairs and after graduating from veterinary school produced a National Winner in both breeds. His main hobby for the last 20 years has been bowling, in both leagues and tournaments. The highlight of Steven’s bowling career was a perfect 300 game in October 2002.

Currently, Dr. Hull has a Miniature Australian Shepherd named Maddie.
